Inspire Bright is teaming up with the Ronald McDonald House in Syracuse to hold a Back to School Collection Drive!
While you're out restocking on toiletries, clothes and kitchenware, please keep this drive in the back of your head !! $5 or $10 can really go a long way when you're already purchasing things at these stores. All items must be COMPLETELY NEW (unopened, untampered with) in order for the House to accept them. Once we get to school, we will each have boxes in our rooms to collect everything and bring it to the House, so you can drop it off to us then. We will also accept Venmo donations to Rachel's Venmo (@RachelARoth) if it's easier for you, rather than pick something up yourself, and it can go towards purchasing any of these items that you'd like. Just make the caption to your Venmo what you'd like it to go towards.

Inspire Bright x SoulCycle

We teamed up with SoulCycle Woodbury to raise money to provide a creative outlet for the kids at Sunrise Day Camp! This summer, the campers in the Leadership Division at Sunrise will create a permanent mural on a wall of the camp to help beautify the area and to put their artistic abilities to good use! We "tapped it back" and had so much fun.
A massive thank you to everybody who purchased bikes and raffles, and to those who donated!
We cannot wait to watch the progress of the mural over the summer.

Arrive Alive Event - Syosset High School
May 28, 2015
Inspire Bright & the Syosset Council of PTA's worked together for the 2nd year in a row and sponsored the Arrive Alive Tour at Syosset High School.
The Syosset Council sponsored the program for 10th graders during the school day, while Inspire Bright sponsored the program from 2:30-5:00pm for 11th & 12th graders and community members.
The deadly consequequence of texting + driving were illustrated through the use of a car simulator.
Participants had the opportunity to get behind the wheel and experience the effects of distracted driving.

Chipotle Fundraiser
A HUGE thank you to Chipotle in Syosset and everyone who came out to support our fundraising event on April 8th! The money we raised will be used toward sponsoring the Arrive Alive Tour for 11th & 12th graders at Syosset High School on May 29th.
Texting & Driving is a danger that affects us all. Distracted driving is deadly and can be easily prevented.
We care about our community, family & friends, and hope the Arrive Alive Tour we are sponsoring will help illustrate the dangers of texting and driving, and make a positive impact on the decisions you make when driving.

Newsday Marching Band Festival
Hard work truly pays off! Inspire Bright co-founders Rachel and Jillian Roth attended the Newsday Marching Band Festival at Hofstra University on Thursday, October 17th to watch the Long Beach High School marching band perform "We Built This City" in their new uniforms and accessories! We were so proud knowing that Inspire Bright had really made a difference in helping fund these outfits after the destruction from Hurricane Sandy. Thank you so much to everybody who purchased a "by passion" or "by determination" lightweight thermal- we couldn't have done it without you! If you haven't yet, pick up one of these adorable and charitable long sleeves at Mixology Woodbury today!
Billy Crystal Meets Inspire Bright
Jillian had the opportunity to meet comedian and actor Billy Crystal this fall, when she supplied him with two of our custom thermals! Hailing from Long Beach himself, Crystal was enthused to hear about Inspire Bright, and our goal to raise money to purchase new band uniforms and accessories for the Long Beach High School.
Inspire Bright Trunk Show
Our trunk show at Mixology in Woodbury went over fantastically, and we could not be more excited about the incredible turn out we had!! So many people in the community came out to support us, and we had so many friends both old and new come to pick up a shirt (or even three!). We completely sold out of the navy "by determination" style over the three days, and only had four of the white "by passion" shirts left, which Mixology sold over the summer!
So many people from outside of the area were asking how they could get involved with our endeavor, so we have been working on putting up a donation link on our homepage, and additionally adding a link where you can purchase our charitable shirts!! Together, we raised $1,400 for the Long Beach High School's marching band to purchase new uniforms and accessories!! We're so proud that we were able to make a difference in these students lives. Through our first event, we've received unbelievable feedback about how we've inspired other teens, adults and children to get involved in their communities, which is exactly what Inspire Bright was created to do. This was the first of many events that Inspire Bright will be holding, and we're already looking forward to the future!

Preparing for the
Inspire Bright Trunk Show!
Inspire Bright was created to encourage, educate, and inspire bright young minds to make a difference in the world surrounding them. Specifically, teens and young adults helping other teens and young adults. Our message is simple. Why wait? We are the influencers and leaders of tomorrow who are taking a stand today. We are getting our opinions and ideas heard and putting them into action. That is why we have teamed up with Mixology for our first fundraiser. Together, we are selling shirts in order to raise money to buy new uniforms for the band at Long Beach High School.
Long Beach High School faced major devastation and destruction after Hurricane Sandy, which created challenges for students everyday lives. We learned that many of the band students’ uniforms were either lost, damaged, or destroyed which brought embarrassment, difficulty, and lack of cohesiveness to the band members. Long Beach High School has over 200 students that participate in the marching band and they are a prestigious group of talented musicians.
